A service station in Tamworth’s Peel Street has pumped the spirits of resident, Clara Palmer, on her 100th birthday.
The BP – today clearly standing for Birthday Party – has become a regular hang-out for Clara over the years.
The staff enjoy spoiling her and today, they joined Clara, her partner Phil and friend Marie for a small celebration, to mark the milestone.
“To get to 100, you don’t know what’s going to be next, yeah… Feels good though!”
Clara – who refuses to look or act her age – enjoyed presents, coffee and of course… a card from the Queen.
