More milk products recalled over threat of E.coli

Dairy companies and retailers have recalled more milk products over the weekend due to possible E.coli contamination.

Lion Dairy & Drinks (LD&D), Aldi and 7-Eleven have pulled several products following on from the recall of three others last week.

LD&D has recalled Dairy Choice Full Cream 2 Litre and Community Co The Good Drop Full Cream 2 Litre with the Use by Date of 25/02/2020 sold at IGA stores and various independents stores.

LD&D Milk Pty Ltd is recalling Dairy Choice Full Cream Milk 2L ‘The Good Drop’ Full Cream Milk 2L, due to microbial (E. coli) contamination. The products have been available for sale at IGA’s & other independent stores in NSW. Use By 25/02/20.

Aldi Stores Pty Ltd is recalling Farmdale Full Cream Milk 3 Litre, from Aldi stores in the ACT and certain Aldi stores in NSW, due to microbial (E. coli) contamination. Use By 25/02/20.

7-Eleven Stores Pty Ltd is recalling 7-Eleven Full Cream Milk 2 Litre, from 7-Eleven stores in NSW and the ACT, due to microbial (E. coli) contamination. Use By 24 FEB 2020.

While 7-Eleven Stores Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of 7-Eleven Full Cream Milk 2 Litre in plastic bottles with Use By Date of 24/02/2020 sold in its stores in ACT and NSW.

Last Thursday, LDD announced a recall of two Dairy Farmers white milk products in NSW. These were manufactured at its Penrith facility.

“We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause. Lion Dairy & Drinks is committed to the highest product quality standards and you can be assured we are continuing to investigate to understand what has happened and put in place steps to mitigate against it happening again,” LD&D said in a statement.
